Empowering Coastal Texas Community
Through Cultural Preservation and Alternative Youth Sports
Serving Rio Grande Valley of Texas and beyond
About Us
Coastal Roots Collective promotes equity in youth athletics by expanding access to alternative sports and non-traditional disciplines. We provide essential resources—equipment, transportation, coaching, and safe practice spaces—to ensure that every student, regardless of background, can participate, grow, and excel.
Our mission centers on the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, including South Padre Island coastal region and beyond, blending cultural preservation with support for action and water sports such as surfing, fishing, skateboarding, archery, MMA, BMX, kiteboarding, and more. We work at both the ISD level and beyond to offer equitable training and sponsorship access for underrepresented youth athletes.
